Itinerary
DAY1 (8th of July 2010)
Individual arrivals in Dubrovnik
Meet us for a welcome drink @19:00, in the reception area. This will be a great opportunity to meet other travelers in the group and to get the necessary insights in to the program. Your guide is eager to reply to any questions you may have related to the Croatian islands.
Learn how people live there, what are their habits, as well as their likes and dislikes.
DAY 2 (9th of July 2010)
The Elaphiti Island Archipelago forms a truly spectacular scene and a Mediterranean experience as it should be. Today we take you for a spectacular boat ride to inhabited islands of Koločep, Lopud and Šipan. Known for their great sandy beaches and coves, all three islands offer numerous relaxation and leisure opportunities. However, this day will not be all about relaxing but having fun too. Wait until we introduce you with a game called picigin!
Late afternoon arrival back to hotel
If you haven’t decided yet what to do in the evening hours, how about going to Dubrovnik summer festival grand opening rehearsal with your fellow travelers? Learn why this rehearsal is far more important to Dubrovnik locals, then the grand opening ceremony itself!
DAY 3 (10th of July 2010)
Lokrum is an island situated right in front of the old city of Dubrovnik. This green, protected, island presents its visitors with a wealth of relaxation within an arms reach from the vibrant city of Dubrovnik. It is so close and reachable by traditional wooden boats which definitely boast some spectacular unique scenes of the region!
After breakfast at the hotel we head towards the colorful and lively Dubrovnik old port. Sun cream, flip flops, sun glasses and hats are must when visiting the Croatian islands. You know what they say: When in Rome…
Get on board Skala- a Dubrovnik old port landmark and enjoy a short but exciting voyage to Lokrum Island.
Lokrum island has for ages been connected with stories and tales. One story says that King Richard the Lionheart had ship wrecked near Lokrum Island when returning from a Crusade. It is believed that a treasure is still hidden on the island. We invite you for an exciting treasure hunt. You never know, maybe you will be the one to discover King Richard’s treasure.
