DAY 2
This morning's tour is appropriately named the "Scenic Road Trip". It is only 40 minutes long but is the perfect way to understand Dubrovnik's dramatic setting by seeing it from above! Our coach will pick you up and take you on a circuit around the hills and heights, stopping at several view points along the way as you approach the top of Srdj hill. Srdj’s peak is 400 metres above the Old Town and offers unbeatable views down into the city, the Zupa Dubrovacka valley and across the Adriatic to islands such as Lokrum and the Elaphite isles. Be sure to bring a camera and lots of film (or a digital camera with plenty of memory)!
The tour then moves down to the gates of the Old Town itself to see Dubrovnik closer up. Our guide will focus on the must-see parts of the Old Town including the Rector's Palace, the Franciscan Monastery and the Cathedral, all the while providing fascinating and entertaining details, background and anecdotes to help enhance your experience. There will be a group lunch at a restaurant in the Old Town. The afternoon is then free for you to spend it at your leisure.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch
Accommodation: Grand Hotel Park **** or similar
DAY 3
Mostar is widely recognised as the most beautiful city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. East and West meet on its gleaming, turquoise river in a blend of oriental architecture, Mediterranean air and Balkan beauty. The main attraction is its world-famous bridge, although you will soon find yourself immersed in other sights around the Ottoman Old Town such as the Old Bazaar, the Turkish House and one of the many mosques which have stood in this city for hundreds of years.
This trip not only includes entrance fees inside the Old Town but also a local, specialised Mostar guide and lunch at a restaurant located only metres from the old bridge. There is an additional stop in the town of Ston en route from Dubrovnik to Mostar. Ston is another gem on Croatia's coast and its fortified border walls, the second longest in the world after the Great Wall of China, are an unforgettable sight.
The afternoon is free for you to shop to your heart's content in Mostar's many souvenir stalls and boutiques and enjoy a Turkish coffee on the banks of the river Neretva. Do not forget to bring your passport for this trip and double-check any possible visa requirements. Please just ask us if you are not sure!

DAY 4
The Elaphite islands (Kolocep, Lopud and Sipan) are enchanting. Blessed with lush woodland and white, rocky outcrops that enhance the deep blues and greens of the Adriatic, you will not want to leave! A full day is needed to explore all 3 islands and that is exactly what is provided. Breakfast is at 9.30am and then it's all aboard the tour boat for a day of cruising around the isles' many coves, bays and coastal villages, with ample opportunity for swimming and snorkelling. Lunch and drinks onboard are all included. The tour ends with dinner at a traditional restaurant on Lopud island before the late evening hop back to your hotel.
